Third Big Give!

This next Big Give was for Trevor and Elliot...

Second Big Give!

Our second Big Give was for the entire family!

 Tie-dyed Mickey shirts!!  These are mine and Craig's (I will be needing some help convincing him to wear it!)

 Addison got a dress with shorts instead of a shirt!

First Big Give!

The First Package was labeled Mickey Mail (loved it!) and came from Lisa and Megan (aka mommy2mrb). Elliot received a sweet Mickey decorated card with a Disney gift card, a Mickey mouse luggage tag, a set of Cars card games that included Go Fish and War (how fun!), and a really cool Buzz Lightyear notebook and pen! He LOVES the pen and notebook so much that he has barely put them down since opening them, he even took them shopping! I thought we'd save them for the trip, but that will not be the case!

Addison received an adorable Minnie luggage tag and a princess pen with a notebook. She loves them all and has been writing in her notebook too! 

Trevor got a luggage tag too, with Goofy on it and he thought it was great!

Big Give!

As I mentioned before, I joined a Disney message board to help me with our Disney plans.  There are a lot of Wish families that post there and I have been able to find a tons of helpful information on Wish Trips.  On this Disney board there is a group of crafty people who make custom Disney books, luggage tags, clothes, and so much more.  These people (called the DISboutiquers) have joined together and started something for Wish families called The Big Give, based on Oprah's Big Give.  They select families that are soon going on Wish Trips and they shower them with Disney Themed gifts for their Wish Trip.  We were asked to be a part of the Big Give and it has already begun!  I am already overwhelmed with the generosity of complete strangers!  Posts and Pictures to follow so keep checking back!

A Little Mickey Magic!

Elliot decided to begin potty training this week and has been doing great with it! We started on Monday and he hasn't had an accident since then! Last Thursday Elliot's MAW coordinator had called to see if we'd need diapers or pull-ups to be in our room when we got to Disney... I told her that I really hoped he'd be potty trained by then. We decided a few pull-ups would be ordered just to be safe. When we were hanging up, she said to tell Elliot that Mickey hopes he is using the potty when he comes down. That's about all it took! Monday he started wearing undies and had 4 accidents. Since then he has used the potty perfectly!! I am beyond impressed because I've tried to convince him to try it for months but he just wasn't interested... guess it's true that they will get it when they are ready. He's told me several times "Me go potty, Mickey will be so happy!"
